As a teenager, perhaps 12 or 13, a boy pointed at my bare legs and laughed at how hairy they were. Everyone around me joined him in laughing at me. I felt utterly ashamed. I had up until this point not even noticed. That was the last time... I've probably thought about my body hair everyday for 20 years.
